The trail includes visits to both Ghabas Village (First hike, a loop, 7 km, elevation gain is 120 m) and Shamal Village (Second hike which is a retrace, 2.78 km, elevation gain of 55m). Total distance is approximately 15 km.
7:00 AM: Meet at the ADNOC gas station (Jebel Jeiss) for check-in and convoy to the trailhead (Heavy off-roading, 4x4 required, sedans will need to park beforehand)
7:30 AM: Begin hike
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Finish First hike
12:50 PM - 1:50 PM: Finish Second Hike (optional)
- Experienced and certified mountain guide (English speaking)

- 1-2 liters of water (DEC – MAR) | 2-3 liters of water (for the rest of the months).
