Wouldn't it be too hot in Saudi during these summer months?
You are right! Considering how hot summer can be in the already arid region of the middle east, that is to be expected, BUT Saudi has hidden gems that may surprise you, and Aseer is one such place. Being at a higher elevation this part of the country is actually perfect for summer explorations. Especially between May and June which transitions to the peak of summer temperatures can vary between high 20 C during the day to mid teens at night with humidity also being quite low compared to other parts of the country.
What is the dress-code when in Saudi?
It is important to dress appropriately when out in the UAE (Unless by the beach and near resorts). Shorts/Skirts that are above the knees is not recommended for both men and women.
Do I need a visa to enter?
You can check eligibility depending on your nationality through the official government website: www.visitsaudi.com
