How much training do I need for this expedition?

Due to the increase in altitude and extreme weather conditions, it is imperative that all participants prepare well in advance for this expedition through planned hikes and also training through cardio excercises, months before the trek. While the trail offers altitude acclimitisation through rest days, it is advised you train for these gains in altitude well in advance. Altitude Sickness is a common condition and one of the main cause of hikers failing to complete their journey in the Nepalese mountains.

If you are interested in training for the Everest Base Camp trek with ECC Adventures, please contact us to plan a hiking training schedule for you.

My recent hiking experience at Wadi Al Abadlah with ECC Adventures was nothing short of extraordinary. The trail was offering a perfect blend of challenging ascents and relaxing meanders through serene valleys. Our guide, Stephen and Karen were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts about the local flora and fauna while ensuring our safety at all times. Their passion for the outdoors was infectious, and made the entire group feel at ease, even during the more strenuous sections of the hike. Overall, the hiking adventure was a transformative experience that rejuvenated my spirit and reignited my love for nature. The best licensed hiking group in UAE. Period. 10 stars. Their hikes are well thought out, and stunning. They make sure no one is left behind by always having 1 person at the start and at the end of the group. They even show you how to climb tough areas by showing exactly where to keep each of your feet. Highly recommend their season pass.
