How much training do I need for this expedition?
Due to the increase in altitude and extreme weather conditions, it is imperative that all participants prepare well in advance for this expedition through planned hikes and also training through cardio excercises, months before the trek. While the trail offers altitude acclimitisation through rest days, it is advised you train for these gains in altitude well in advance. Altitude Sickness is a common condition and one of the main cause of hikers failing to complete their journey in the Nepalese mountains.
If you are interested in training for the Everest Base Camp trek with ECC Adventures, please contact us to plan a hiking training schedule for you.
