The Hebs Village hike in Ras Al Khaimah takes you through the rugged foothills of the Hajar Mountains to an ancient settlement once home to the Hebsi tribe. This moderately challenging hike features rocky trails, steep ascents, and some scrambling, offering hikers panoramic views of valleys, cliffs, and distant peaks.
At the summit, the village's traditional stone houses and terraced fields stand as a testament to the area’s agrarian past. Example itinerary:
6:00 AM: Meet at the ADNOC gas station (Jebel Jais) for check-in and convoy to the trailhead (light off-roading)
6:30 AM: Begin hike
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Finish hike

- 1-2 liters of water (DEC – MAR) | 2-3 liters of water (for the rest of the months).
- Salted snacks and/or fruit for a few hours of hiking with a little extra.

- T-shirt light pullover for sun protection/warmth in the morning/evening.
