The Hebs Village hike in Ras Al Khaimah takes you through the rugged foothills of the Hajar Mountains to an ancient settlement once home to the Hebsi tribe. This moderately challenging hike features rocky trails, steep ascents, and some scrambling, offering hikers panoramic views of valleys, cliffs, and distant peaks.
At the summit, the village's traditional stone houses and terraced fields stand as a testament to the area’s agrarian past. The hike provides a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience the resilience of the Hebsi people. The return journey, while less demanding, allows for reflection on the history and natural beauty of Ras Al Khaimah’s mountain landscapes, making this a memorable adventure for those seeking a blend of culture and outdoor exploration.
