Jebel Akhdar, often referred to as the “Green Mountain,” is one of Oman’s most picturesque destinations. This three-day adventure promises breathtaking landscapes, serene villages, and a peek into the region’s rich cultural tapestry. Nestled at over 2,000 meters above sea level, Jebel Akhdar offers a unique mix of cool climate and lush greenery, making it a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
On top of that, Jebel Akhdar is also about immersing yourself in the local culture. The small villages scattered throughout the mountain are home to warm and welcoming locals who are keen to share their way of life. Tasting traditional Omani cuisine, exploring ancient forts, and learning about traditional farming techniques are just some of the experiences that await you, if you'd like to spend a few more days and engulf yourself in Omani culture and way of life.

Day 1: Arrival, Suwgra Hike & Optional Adventure Park
7:00 AM – Meet at the Hatta Border
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Drive to Jebel Akhdar, Oman (with scenic/photo stopovers en route)
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM – Arrive at Police Checkpoint (Sedans park, 4WDs continue), ascend to DusitD2 Jebel Akhdar
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM – Check-in at DusitD2. Time to freshen up
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM – Beginner Hike to Suwgra Village (3.5 KM, 250 M elevation gain)
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM – Optional Adventure Park (ropes course, zip line, climbing wall) OR relax at the resort
6:30 PM - 7:00 PM – Return to hotel, refresh
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM – Dinner and leisure time
Day 2: Three Villages Hike with Optional Via Ferrata & Return
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM – Breakfast at DusitD2
10:00 AM – Check-out of DusitD2
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM – Three Villages Hike (3.5 KM, 300 M elevation gain)
Optional Add-On: Via Ferrata experience along the hike (requires pre-booking, moderate fitness level, safety gear provided by certified guide)
2:00 PM – Finish hike, descend from Jebel Akhdar
2:30 PM - 6:30 PM – Drive to Hatta Border, UAE
8:30 PM - 9:30 PM – Arrive back in Dubai
