The Sadiqa Village Ascent is perfect for anyone seeking to reach the top of the proverbial, and real, mountain. This trail tests your endurance as it includes a difficult 1.5 to 2 hour ascent. Centuries of erosion form a natural stairway of rocks that serve as your path through this rugged terrain as you ascend on this hike. Be ready for strenuous climbs and exposure to sun on this intermediate to advanced hike. The completion of the ascent will reward you with breathtaking viewpoints and spectacular scenery, leaving you with a true sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

- 6:00 AM: Meet at the ADNOC gas station in Fujairah and convoy to trailhead (off-roading involved, sedans uncomfortable may park before off-roading section)
- 7:00 AM: Begin hike
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Finish Hike
Constant ascending/descending for 2+ hours, exposed areas to heights, loose gravel/scree downwards.

My recent hiking experience at Wadi Al Abadlah with ECC Adventures was nothing short of extraordinary. Their hikes are well thought out, and stunning. They make sure no one is left behind by always having 1 person at the start and at the end of the group. They even show you how to climb tough areas by showing exactly where to keep each of your feet. Highly recommend their season pass.
I joined ECC in 2022 and have been a season pass holder since then. The trails they offer are unique; after your first hike, you’ll want to keep going back again and again….and again. 😂 I never thought hiking would be possible in the UAE, but ECC has made it happen—and it’s incredibly fun!
