Start your trip with an off-road drive to Salmah Plateau where you will camp overnight and stargaze into our vast and dizzying Milky Way.
Wake up ready to take it up a few notches with an adrenaline pumping canyoning adventure to Wadi Hawer, Oman's natural waterpark, where you will spend the day hiking, swimming and jumping and sliding off cliffs.
Having ticked off a sleep-over on a panoramic plateau and an exhilarating canyoning adventure it’s time to enwrap yourself in Oman’s other-worldly turquoise blue ocean. You will visit to Dimaniyat Islands for a snorkelling and ‘finding Nemo’ morning before you wrap up this scenic tour of Oman.
Day 1: Arrival and drive to Salmah Plateau
After arriving in Muscat, we will have a welcome briefing before driving towards Salmah Plateau to start our exploration of Oman.
After an exciting off-road drive set towards our campsite for the night. Upon arrival we will set up tents and start on a BBQ feast before we settle down under the quiet starry sky around the campfire for the evening.
Day 2: Canyoning at Wadi Hawer
Wake up to the sounds and views of the mountains and after breakfast we will set off towards Wadi Bani Khalid and make our way towards Wadi Hawer where the real adventure begins.
Wadi Hawer, a natural water park, is where you can swim in turquoise pools, slide down smooth rocks, and experience cliff jumping. Hours of fun await you where you can bring out your inner child before we head off to a local restaurant for a well-deserved lunch.
We will make our way towards Muscat for our overnight hotel for the night.
Day 3: Discover Dimaniyat Islands & Departure
Start this exciting day ahead with a short transfer to Al Mouj Marina for a breathtaking snorkelling tour of the Daymaniyat Islands, a group of nine pristine islands is renowned for vibrant coral reefs, colourful marine life, and graceful sea turtles in crystal-clear waters. Since 1993, these islands have been a protected marine reserve, offering an untouched snorkelling paradise.
Lunch will be served onboard the boat where you can relax with ocean views.
We aim to return to the Marina by 1:30 PM, and then a chance to shower and change before heading before heading to the airport in time for your flight.
- 1 night camping with equipment and BBQ dinner (Tent and all camp cutlery, plates, bowls and cups included. Sleeping bags can be purchased at 145 AED/pp).

For entry into Oman, please make sure to bring:
- Passport with UAE residency visa valid for at least 3 months and passport valid for 6 months or more
- Vehicle insurance for Oman if driving

Do I need a visa to enter Oman?
Depending on your passport you may need a visa either pre-approved or on arrival. Please check for all entry regulations including requirements to DRIVE across the border into Oman through the official website: https://evisa.rop.gov.om/
Is alcohol banned in Oman?
Alcoholic beverages are available at the bars and restaurants of most 5 star hotels in Oman. You can also purchase up to 4 liters of alcohol upon arrival from the duty-free liquor section at the airport.
What's the acceptable dress code?
Swim wear is permitted without reservations in 5 star hotels and resorts. In public places however it is advised to wear clothing that covers your knees and shoulders. Short sleeves, t-shirts and leggings are acceptable in general. In places of religious importance however, women must cover all parts of their body including their hair and men must wear long trousers and shirts.
