Note: the Wadi Shawka Ciruit Loop is a test of endurance, with stairs, elevation gain, and scenic views starting from the dam to get you really challenged and ready to take on new heights!
Pool Hike (Beginner Level)
- 6:00 AM: Meet at ADNOC near Mleiha
- 6:45 AM: Begin the hike
- 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM: Finish the hike
Some incline, slippery areas, uneven terrain, scrambling sides of the canyon and waterways at points, hazardous species.

Circuit Trail (Intermediate)
- 7:00 AM: Meet at ADNOC near Mleiha
- 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM: Begin the hike
- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Finish the hike
Steep stair ascent beginning the trail, loose rocks, sun exposure, length of trail, exposure to heights.

- T-shirt light pullover for sun protection/warmth in the morning/evening.
- Trekking poles (optional to help with balance or mitigate fatigue).
