Trans-Emirates Trail: A 250KM Trek Across the
UAE’s Hajar Mountains for a Cause
We are super excited to launch an extraordinary expedition, the Trans-Emirates Trail (TET), covering over 250 kilometers across four emirates from March 1 to 15, 2025. This ambitious initiative will highlight the natural beauty of the UAE’s rugged landscapes while raising funds for charity.
While the event is primarily ECC Adventure team driven we are offering designated dates (5 days out of the 15 days) where public participation is invited.
A Purpose Beyond the Trail – The Trans-Emirates Trail is not just a test of endurance but a call to action, encouraging the UAE community to:
- Celebrate the UAE’s diverse natural beauty
- Promote outdoor activity and environmental stewardship
- Use this expedition to raise awareness and fundraise for a cause

While the expedition is carried out by Chris and Stephen, we are opening selected dates where experienced and professional hikers can join us for one, two or all of the 5 open day trails. For details about these open day trails, please scroll down.
- Donate to our official fundraisers on Dubai Cares and YallaGive
We are using this expedition to raise awareness and funds for two causes close to our hearts and we would appreciate it if you would support everyone doing the hike by donating to either of these charities. Every little helps!
Dubai Cares: Raising funds to support those who are displaced in Gaza and in need for medical and other essentials.
YallaGive: We are joining Friends of Cancer Patients, a UAE charity dedicated to helping families whose loved ones are diagnosed with cancer and need financial or other essentials throughout their journey.

[Fujairah] Wadi Sidr – Murbad (via Wadi Maydaq) [Ras al Khaimah] 22 KM, 925 M Elevation.
Overnight accommodation on 8th March (evening prior to hike day) is available.

Day 15/15 – Saturday, March 15, 2025
Morning 8.00 am – 12.00 pm
[Dubai, Ajman], Hatta Green Trail, Dubai 8 AM to 12 PM
7.81 KM, 200 M Elevation.

Afternoon 5 – 9 PM
Hatta to Jebel Al Bayd, Masfoot, Ajman 7.89 KM and Elevation Gain: 380 M
Participation prices:
Full day Hike only – 500 AED/ per hike day
Half day hike only – 250 AED/per hike
Hike and 1 night accommodation – 850 AED
Hike and 2 nights’ accommodation
- 1200 AED for shared dorm facilities
- 1500 for shared/private cabin stay -1500 AED (only for Public Day 1 and 2)
* Overnight stay will include dinner and breakfast.
* Overnight accommodation on public event #1 (and #2) will be at Bear Grylls camp.
* Overnight stay for public event #3 and #4 will be at Camp Sayh, Fujairah.
** Dormitory stay at Bear Grylls Camp- 4 Dormitory Tents that sleep 25 each, with separate male and female toilet/shower blocks
** Cabin option for public event #1 and #2 is for 3 people at Bear Grylls Camp – double bed + single bunk and private bathroom
** Overnight accommodation for public event #3 and #4 will be Camp Sayh in shared cabin with bunk beds and private shower.
