Embark on a thrilling winter escapade to Jebel Akhdar, Oman, where every moment is a celebration of nature and adventure. This meticulously planned itinerary promises a perfect blend of exploration, adrenaline-pumping activities, and moments of zen, contemplative moments.

Jebel Akhdar, meaning “Green Mountain” in Arabic, is part of the Al Hajar mountain range in Oman. The mountain reaches an elevation of over 3,000 meters (around 9,800 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest points in the Arabian Peninsula. Renowned for its stunning landscapes, cooler climate, and terraced gardens, Jebel Akhdar stands as an oasis of natural beauty in the arid deserts of Oman. The mountain is located in the northeastern part of the Al Hajar mountain range, overlooking the picturesque Saiq Plateau.

The area is known for its cooler climate compared to the surrounding lowlands. The temperatures are significantly lower, especially during the summer months, making it a popular retreat for those seeking respite from the heat. One of the unique features of Jebel Akhdar is its terraced gardens, known as “falaj,” which are traditional irrigation systems. The mountain’s slopes are carefully cultivated to grow various crops, including pomegranates, apricots, and roses used for making rose water. The rose gardens of Jebel Akhdar are famous for producing high-quality rose water.

Access to Jebel Akhdar was historically restricted due to its strategic location, but in recent years, restrictions have eased, allowing tourists to explore this natural wonder.

Whether looking for a beginner’s escape or an advance challenge that will test your resolve, this trip caters to almost everyone. Come join us on adventure of a lifetime!
