Camel Village Trek - Camel Ride
AL-Asouf Camel Riding Center and the Al Marmoom Bedouin Arab Village
The first camel sport center in the UAE, the Al-Asouf Camel Riding Center uniquely provides the immersive traditional experience of riding camels within a convoy.
Here, you will learn about the interdependence of both the camel and the Bedouin and how the gift of the camel allowed for the nomadic people to survive the harsh conditions of the desert for thousands of years.
With in the Al Marmoom Bedouin Arab village, you will get a glimpse of how tradition has melded with the modern, in local customs as well as the continuing of the training of camels for sport.
Sunset Camel Ride Program
Learn to ride the camel along the camel training track. Through this experience, you will know more of the contemporary life of the Bedouins in their preparation for the annual camel racing competing season in Dubai Al Marmoom.
After we discuss cultural aspects and brief about the ride and safety precautions, we will begin our sunset trek into the dunes. As the sun begins to fade, we will hear the call to prayer all around us, taking you on a truly magical journey. We will provide coffee, tea, dates, and possible sunset visit to the sand dunes by car.
